SplashSplash

Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

The short version

Splash is a private, invite-only app for a business's social media team, run by its developer operating as Solvendr (a business name, not a separate company). We collect only what the app needs to work, we use it only to run Splash for that business, and we never sell it or use it for ads.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address, first and last name, your role, and when you agreed to these policies.
  • Your work: clock-in and clock-out times, requested changes to hours and their comments, pay periods, export history, and feedback you send.
  • Posts and footage (as those features arrive): post plans, captions, approvals, comments and links to footage.
  • Cookies: one to keep you logged in, and one to remember light or dark mode on your device. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Connected social media accounts

Splash doesn't connect to Instagram, Facebook or TikTok yet. Before it does, this policy will be updated to list exactly what Splash reads from those accounts (such as post statistics) and why. Splash will use that data only to show the business its own results.

How we use it

  • To log you in and show you what your role allows.
  • To run the app's features: hours, pay periods, posts, approvals and footage.
  • To send login codes and app emails.
  • To fix problems and improve Splash, using feedback you choose to send.

Who can see it

Your team sees your name, and the business's admins see your hours and work, as their roles allow. We don't share your data with anyone else, except the services that run Splash for us, which handle it only on our behalf:

  • Supabase: database and logins
  • Vercel: hosting the app
  • Resend: sending login and app emails
  • GitHub: storing private daily backups

We'd also share data if the law required it.

How long we keep it

We keep data while the business uses Splash. Hours and pay records are the business's records, so we keep them for the business even after someone's access is removed, unless the business asks us to delete them. Daily backups are kept so data can be recovered after a failure, and are used for nothing else.

Deleting your data

To ask for your data to be deleted, or for a copy of it, email privacy@solvendr.com from the address you use for Splash. We'll reply within 30 days. We'll delete your account and personal details. Hours and pay records the business needs to keep, for example for tax purposes, are kept for the business or handed over to it. Copies in older backups aren't restored, except to recover from a failure.

Keeping it safe

Logins use one-time codes, with no passwords to steal. Data is sent over encrypted connections, and the database only shows each person what their role allows.

Children

Splash is a work app and isn't meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

We'll update this policy when Splash changes what it collects. For a big change, Splash will ask everyone to agree again before continuing.
